Date Setting for Past Years

I'd like a faster way to set the date, especially the YEAR, than the spinner input method. I often want to enter games that are from years past, but getting the date rolled back even a year or two takes a LONG time with the spinning wheel approach. Is there a way to allow each element of the date to be set separately, so that the year can be set independently of the month/day, please?

  Thanks for the suggestion. There are couple other Retrosheet-type features in the backlog and perhaps we can create a setting for historical game input that would enable this type of date entry.
